For the novice, we have many easy riding areas. Corrals to get the communications worked out with your new and noble servant. Open trails and old roads, which remain on somewhat level footing.
Kootenay Rides - Enjoy lush green forested trails, riverside rides, high elevation panorama, wild life, including elk, deer, birds and bear, enjoy our clean mountain air, and we may even see an odd patch of old growth forest! These rides require the rider to be somewhat competent, and if this competence is waning, the willingness to listen must be waxing! Kootenay Rides may be over night rides, half or full day trips.
BC Rides - Horses may be transported to rides such as the Dewdney Trail, Fort Sheppard, and other parts of the Trans-Canada Trail.
Participate in an equine show or contest, such as Endurance or Barrels!
Competence from our guests with our horses is expected before participating in more challenging rides. Customize your tour from many options. We can supply horses to your function; the transport will be negotiated with your package tour.
